The act of giving is an act of worship. By giving, it makes it possible for God to act in tangible ways in our church, in our community, and in our world to transform lives. In addition to giving through the Sunday morning offering plate, there are 2 ways to give.

Giving is in the very heart of what First United Methodist Church is all about. Here are some additional details for you to consider.

  • Can I schedule recurring donations?

    Yes. When you give online, you can choose to make a one-time gift or set up a recurring

    donation (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.). You’re in control of the amount, the fund

    you give to, and the schedule—and you can pause, change, or cancel your recurring gift

    at any time through your online giving account.

  • Will I still receive a contribution statement?

    Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.

  • What if I change banks?

    If you change banks or need to update your payment information, simply log in to your

    online giving account and edit your saved payment method. If you have recurring

    donations set up, be sure to update the bank or card information there so your gifts

    continue without interruption. If you need help, contact the Financial Secretary.

  • Is online giving secure?

    Yes. Our online giving platform uses industry-standard encryption and security measures

    to protect your personal and financial information. Your payment details are processed

    by a reputable third-party provider and are not stored on the church’s servers.

  • Who do I talk to for more questions?

    If you have any questions about online giving, your contribution statement, or updating

First United 2025 Recap

This year, our church family showed up in powerful ways as we served our neighbors near and far:


• Diaper Depot supported families in need with essential diapers and wipes.
• Missions donated over $7,000, supporting local nonprofits, scholarships, disaster relief, and global missions.
• United Women in Faith volunteered, served, and donated over $6,000 to 13 local nonprofits sharing love through food, care kits, and prayer shawls.


None of this would be possible without the generosity and dedication of our amazing congregation.


Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ and we can’t wait to continue this spirit of giving in 2026!
